JOHN FRANCE
Mechanic
A professional racer for over twenty years, John has an intuitive feel when it comes to fine tuning high performance motorcycles. A gifted mechanic, John began learning his craft as a teenager—working on cars, motorcycles and ATVs. Racing on the weekends, he continued to hone his tuning skills during the week, specializing on Yamahas, Kawasakis, Hondas, and Arctic Cats.
Having begun his career in the early 1970's racing a Yamaha AT125 at Colorado National Speedway, John eventually working his way up to the 250 GP class in Daytona. In 1985 he switched to Honda RS250s, which he rode till the end of that class in 2003. Now on the mechanical side of racing, John is adding to his illustrious resume, most notably in 2006 when he worked for Factory Ducati and racing superstar Ben Bostrom.
